Verify the exact product identity
- Product name and selected variation
- Net content, count or format
- Packaging language and visible brand
- Batch or shelf-life information when available
- Any fragrance, color or size options
Review market suitability
Authentic packaging may have been prepared for a different sales channel or market. The buyer remains responsible for checking destination requirements for labeling, permitted claims, language, registration, import and resale unless a specific compliance service is agreed in writing.
Confirm physical packaging condition
Before dispatch, packaging and quantities should be checked as part of order preparation. Buyers should also inspect the shipment on arrival and document any discrepancy promptly with order details and clear photos.
- Outer box and product packaging condition
- Correct quantity by SKU
- Seals and closures where applicable
- Consistency with the confirmed product images
Ask for documents by product—not by assumption
COA, MSDS and other documents are not automatically identical across every product. Ask which documents are available for the selected SKU and whether further testing, translation or registration is needed for your market.
Keep the first order focused on learning
A good trial order should answer specific questions: Which format attracts buyers? Which packaging converts? Which product is reordered? Use those answers to improve the next ready-stock assortment or decide whether a private-label investment is justified.
